Alan Price's Biography

Born in South East London and on leaving school followed in the family footsteps in public service. My Father having been a career soldier and my Mother a Civil Servant. I started life in the Department of Transport but within a year joined the Met. Police. There I stayed, specialising in Royal and Diplomatic Protection before moving into the centrally based Firearms Unit. During my service I met a girl (now my wife Jane) from North West London and when we married we decided to look for a house in the North East. We found one in the quaint little village of Quendon and here we are. That was twenty years ago, and apart from a brief stint away due to the arrival of our son Jamie ten years ago we've been here ever since. Now retired, I spend most of my time repairing the house that Jack built, taking Jamie to football, playing golf and cooking.
